Vibes and Vapors was a radio show on WRPB 103.3 at Princeton University from late 1992 to 1998. Originally a 90-minute show on Wednesdays designed for listeners prone to recording mixshows, Vibes and Vapors was a complete two-sided tape…one side a hip hop mix, the other side consisting of house and dance cuts. It was complimentary to the already established Raw Deal (hip hop) and Sounds of the Underground (house and techno). Eventually Raw Deal would leave the airwaves in 1993 and Vibes and Vapors slid into the Thurssday 10-1 slot and focused primarily on hip hop but there were those special nights when anything was possible.
